Christmas and After

Well, my reading was a success. I did mess up at the end though because I started to get a headache. After church a bunch of people told me I did great. Phew!

The longs came over and we tracked Santa all night. (and opened some presents of course) We checked and he was in Canada. We ran downstairs screaming then a half hour to an hour later we went back up and he was in Brazil!!! We were freaking out! Why would he go from Canada to Brazil and then USA?? Crazy!

Christmas was great I got so much great stuff. We just had a very lazy day and watched Christmas Story like usual.

Sunday we shopped all day. I finally found skinny jeans that are skinny on me at my new favorite store, Abercrombie! I got a cute wristlet at Icing. My sis loved the Colts sweater I got her. (She is obsessed with them) We went to Best Buy, but the computer my sister wanted was all out. My parents went to look at the refrigerators. They found a fridge and were about to buy it. There was a sale for a fridge, stove, dish washer, and a microwave for really cheap. My Gramma said that she would give them 1,000 dollars. So they bought it. It is being delivered on Thursday and installed on Friday. Just in time for our New Year’s Party.

Thursday I have an orthodontist appointment. I might get my head gear.

Week Before Christmas, Chaos!!!

Wow!!! Busy, busy week before Christmas. On Monday I got my haircut. (So cute!) Then Ellie had her 13th birthday party at Beggars Pizza. (YUM) It was so awesome and all though the Avalon tradition was broke, a new one was started.

Then Tuesday I went to work with my mom. I folded about 70 papers for them! It was very tiring.

Today the youth group went to Christian Village and attended their prayer service. It was nice. Karen even incorporated us into the gospel. I was an angel! Then tonight we had our yearly Christmas party, which was awesome. Afterwards my family ate dinner at the 19th hole.

Tomorrow we are going shopping. Friday is Christmas Eve. I will be making a reading at church and I am so excited.

Family Christmas Party and Home

I am now back from my annual family Christmas party. We left on Saturday after dropping my dog off at the doggy hotel.(kennel) Aunt Terri lives in Plymouth, Michigan.  I had a great time. We opened presents. I got two outfits. (One I have to take back because I’m so skinny! UGH!!!) A cute pink monkey with very large eyes. (Soooooo cute) I also got Glee Karaoke Revolution for wii.

For dinner we had yummy ham and cheesy potatoes. (And cupcakes, LOL) We played “Pass the Ace” for the longest time last night. Its a game that is meant for less than 6 players and we had 12 players. (Very chaotic)

My cousin Sarah’s dog Benny (a Chihuahua) started fighting with Amy’s dog. (A large pit-bull mix maybe? IDK but big) It was hilarious. I caught some on video. Later that night Benny puked on the couch! (YUCK!!!) Sarah is a wimp and made her sister Amy clean it up. (Amy is nice, I wouldn’t have) I slept with my cousin Jake’s cat for half the night. His cats are twins, Abby and Drew. I slept with sweet Abby.

This morning we ate at Denny’s. (Something we do every year. IDK why) When we got home we played my Karaoke wii game. Karly, you have seen my dad. You know how weird, but funny he is. Well imagine him playing karaoke!! HILARIOUS!!!

Tomorrow I am getting a haircut. (That means if I don’t decide not to) I will email my followers a pic! Here is how I am getting it cut:

IMAX, Choir Concert, and More

 

Yesterday was a very exiting day!

First was the IMAX field trip. It was so exciting. The first movie that we saw was IMAX Under the Sea. It was all about creatures living under the sea, like fish, crabs, sea lions, sharks, etc. It was kind of scary in some parts because an exotic creature would be camouflaged into the coral or plants and then all of a sudden jump out at you, in 3D!!!! It was a very fun experience because we felt like we were swimming in the ocean with all the creatures.

When we were going up to get concessions Karly and I went down the stairs on the wrong side. We had to cross the whole theatre to get to the door, while everyone was staring at us. SILLY US!!!! LOL.

The second movie was Hubble. It was about the Hubble space telescope. I felt that the first movie was better because it was more interesting.

When we left, the teachers said “No food or drinks on the bus”

“Awwwww,” Karly exclaimed, “I was going to take my popcorn,” And of course you can all guess what does she do? She takes half of her popcorn and shoves it into her purse! Good times, good times. LOL.

That night at 7:00 was our Winter Choir and Band Concert. Only one problem, the elementary Christmas Program was on that same night. A lot of the kids in choir and band had siblings in that program. Many parents had to rush from show to show to see all of their kids perform. It was very chaotic, but in the end the choir and band did great!

Today when I went to the orthodontist the nurse was able to fix my expander in no time. She told me to not think about the key and open my mouth really wide, so that I don’t gag. (I have a very bad gag reflex) It worked and now my mom can turn it easily every night and hopefully I won’t have to wear it so much longer.

I have had a great week so far. I hope that the rest of my week goes as well and that my family has a safe trip to Michigan in this yucky winter weather. (Please pray!!!!)

Tumbling Xmas Party

I had a lot of fun at the xmas party. At the gift exchange I got washable markers that you can right on windows or glass. We watched last years recital, that I was not in. It was very fun. The people there were Carson, Madison, Megan, and Jenifer. (and me of course) And Mrs. Sandy. Mrs. Sandy loved her gift. We got her a gift card to Olive Garden. YUM.

Snow

 

Wow! Snow! So much of it. It is everywhere! Wind was blowing it all around, people could not drive. It was like a large blizzard. Three counties were under State of Emergency! Salt trucks were out all the time. Schools were canceled. Cars got stuck in ditches and some in the middle of roads. The snow was higher than my dog in some parts. That is how my town was like this weekend and Monday.

Tomorrow I have a field trip to the IMAX theatre. We are seeing a movie about Hubble and Undersea. I am very exited.

School is out for winter break on Friday.

This weekend I am going to my aunt’s house for our annual Family Christmas party.

Tonight is the Christmas party for my tumbling, so got to go. I will blog about it when I get home or tomorrow!

Bloody Nose..worst day???

Today I had my first bloody nose!!! OMG!!! I was having a kind of bad day because my sister kept bothering me while I was making a video and I had to restart like 50 times. (Exaterating) And it is like a blizzard outside. School is already canceled. Yippee!!! Only 12 more days till Christmas! Youth Group

Holy Spirit Catholic Church Junior High youth Group recently donated "shoe boxes" to Samaritans purse. We packed small boxes with items that poor children don't have, like toys, candy, tooth suplies, hair supplies, flashlights, blankets, and more. After our quick meeting we played a game of holiday charades. The kids receiving these shoeboxes will be very exited and joyful.
